You've got a beautiful table, a set of plates, silverware, and chairs that you've just reupholstered...but something is still missing. A little texture or the unexpected can make your table setting wow your guests.
A little wooden stool - perhaps found at a flea market or antique store, gives a little height to a vase.
Stone flooring tiles add texture as an unusual table mat.
Glass vases filled with rope add a textured, nautical feel.
Branches. You can leave them natural or spray paint them a bold, glossy color.
Fruit and veggies have always been a popular choice,
but fill tall cylinder vases with it and you'll add a little more drama to the table.
Have you tried any usual table decor?

Great inspiration. I love the use of the stone tiles for placemats. How fun. Hugs, marty
